Judy lives in upstate NY with her husband, Jerry, three cats and three Siberian Huskies. She has two adult age children, Jaye and Mark. Her educational background includes training in conflict resolution, mediation, and Meyers-Briggs personality type measurement. She has a M.S. in Economics and is a certified qi gong therapist.
Judy is co-chief instructor of Aikido Kokikai Rochester, and holds a 5th degree black belt in the martial art of aikido.
She is the director of the Victor, New York office of Aiki Works where she coordinates programs for business and education by Thomas Crum, author of the Magic of Conflict.
She is the author of a DVD, Centering Movements, Centering Sounds, and two books: From Chaos to Center: A Training Guide in the Art of Centering and co-author with Tom Crum of The New Conflict Cookbook: A Parent/Teacher Guide for Helping Young People Deal with Anger and Conflict
Judy is on the Board of Directors of the Franciscan Family Apostolate, a non-profit organization active in the environs of Alleppey, India a small town on the southwest coast of India. FFA directs it efforts at helping the poor of all faiths to self sufficiency through family sponsorships that provide funds for basic needs and vocational training.
