One of my favorite past times is quilting. I often call my quilts, "Ki Quilts." Ki is the Japanese word for energy. If I am aware as I am making a quilt whom I will give it to, I meditate upon the person while making it.

My favorite fabrics are batiks and Japanese fabrics, particularly from Kimonos.

Many of my full size quilts are quilted by Vallerie Schultz. I feel that she adds greatly to the design of my quilts.

My newest area of exploration are art quilts. A wonderful quilter in Kenya, Dena Crain, has encouraged me to continue to grow in this area. Dena teaches through Quilt University and I encourage you to take one of her classes.

If you are aware of an organization that would like a quilt for a fund raiser such as an auction, please let me know.

Here are some samples of my latest work:

Indian Dreams.. started after my 2006 trip to India. Some of the fabric came from the trip. Most from my 'stash'. All seemed together to create the auro of the India I saw - warm, vibrant, blending together many into harmony. The quilting was again done by Vallerie Schultz and added tremendously to the success of this piece. I am very lucky to have met her!

This is one of my favorite quilts - it grew from a square I created for a class through Quilt University. The quilting is now being done by Valerie Schultz of Mountain View Quilting. She is great!
