This quilt was commissioned for the wedding of two family friends. The pattern was adopted from a smaller quilt design in Batik Beauties by Laurie Shifrin. It was machine quilted by Val Schultz of Mountain View Quilting. It placed third in the Maiden Quilter category of the 2009 GVQC show in Rochester, NY.
